The company was formerly known as Shengli Oilfield Material Supply Department Fangyuan Economic and Trade Company, which was established in 1993. In 2006, it was restructured as Shengli Oilfield Supply Fangyuan Petroleum Equipment Co., Ltd. In 2011, it was renamed Shengli Fanland Petroleum Equipment Co., Ltd.

The registered capital of the company is 65.16 million yuan, and it is one of the main suppliers of Sinopec.
